Dolphins Weekly Newsletter 6/3-6/9
Good evening everyone,
We have a very eventful upcoming week so I will try to keep this short but clear as possible!
First off, a HUGE thanks to all the volunteers who helped our dual meet run smoothly! The Stingrays coaching staff said the meet ran extremely well and our volunteers paid great attention to detail. We had great races and I'm proud of our team's effort! Any photos wanting to be uploaded on the website can be emailed to me.
- NGSL Splash Meet - RSVP Deadline: Monday, 5/4 by NOON.
This is a big meet with roughly 6 or 7 teams in attendance! We will swim relays at this meet and I will try to form as many possible! I will send out official entries once they are finalized. Despite of a request through the RSVP, please remember that I will not put your swimmer in an event that he or she is unable to swim correctly. There will be stroke judges at this meet that will look to disqualify illegal technique.
I will receive the warm-up schedule from the host of the meet on Thursday, but please plan on having warm-ups at 8:00 AM for 1st session and 12:00 pm for 2nd session.
2. Picture Day: Monday, 5/4. Please see previous email from the board on all details. Coaches will start lining kids up for team photos at 6:30 PM. We WILL have practice for both sessions after photos are taken.
3. NGSL Pentathlon RSVP - If you received an email from me about your swimmer qualifying for the Pentathlon, please RSVP asap. Deadline is June 8th. If you did not receive that email, your swimmer will be going to the Invitational Meet. Please go ahead and RSVP for that meet as well.
4. Movies on the Lawn Team Bonding Event: Friday, June 8th. Please RSVP for this event so that the board can get a headcount on how many people will attend. There will be a separate email on details related to the event later this week.
Please don't hesitate to email me any questions.
I think Georgia finally had enough of this rainy weather!!!
- Coach Andrew
