Important Updates - May 11th
Good morning Dolphins Parents!
In addition to some information send out last week, please see the following updates:
1.The Board has made a decision to move the Parent meeting from this upcoming Monday, May 13th to Thursday, May 16th at the Dacula Pool (@ 7 p.m.). We understand that there are several family and school functions occurring and would like to ensure maximum attendance!
a.Having said this, please go to the website to sign up to bring 2 potluck dishes for that evening so we can all enjoy a meal together.
b.Navigate to Dacula Dolphins website, find upcoming events (on right side), click ‘Parent Meeting’, and select ‘Job Signup’
2. If you haven’t done so – please read the last email for important updates.
3. Please come to the pre-season practices this morning to try on team swim suits and team t-shirts. PLEASE note:
a. Swim suits must be tried on before you get into the water. We are renting this sizing kit and will have to pay damages if they are absorbed in chlorine.
b. Swim Suit and goggle sizing kits will be available through Thur May 16th only.
c. Ordering is done via swimoutlet.com at your convenience
d. Team Suits are either (your choice of style (Solids are in blue/black)):
i. Girls - ‘Sporti Catalyst Thin Strap One Piece Swimsuit’, ‘Sporti Piped Splice Wide Strap One Piece Swimsuit’
ii. Boys – ‘Sporti Piped Splice Swim Jammer Swimsuit’, ‘Piped Splice Swim Brief Swimsuit’, ‘Sporti Catalyst Jammer Swimsuit’
e. You may change the size of your team shirts until end of day Sunday, May 12th. The order will be send on Monday, May 13th and will be distributed to the team the following week during practice. Please email board any changes – [email protected]
4. Please down the ‘Swimtopia’ app for all communication. We will no longer be using the Remind app.
5. The 2019 Calendar has been updated and posted to website.
6. If you haven’t done so already, please complete a concussion form prior to entering the pool. They will be available during practice today and next week.
7. Caps are here, please see a board member by the Team Suit and Shirt Sizing hanger!
8. We are in need of a Volunteer Coordinator Board Member. This individual will possess the master volunteer list for our team. This volunteer will be responsible for assuring that all volunteers report as indicated and finding on deck replacements or additions as necessary.
9. Registration is open until May 31st! Don't forget to refer a new swimmer and receive a $15 swimoutlet.com gift card or check reimbursement!
