Hello Dolphin Families,

Please make note of a few important announcements regarding upcoming events:

• Deadline to RSVP for the Splash Meet

(Saturday, June 4th) is this 

Sunday, May 29th! 

• EVERY SWIMMER MUST RSVP on our

website (found under the events tab) 

for each meet - it is very important that we know exactly which swimmers plan to attend and which swimmers do not. Please refer to the powerpoint from the parent meeting for step-by- step instructions on how to RSVP. (Powerpoint can be found on our website).

• Parent Volunteer sign-ups can also be

found under the events tab on our

website. (You can refer to the parent meeting powerpoint for step-by-step instructions for this as well.) Remember, each family must fulfill at least ONE volunteer position each season. Training for Timers will be held at each meet.

• DACULA MEMORIAL DAY PARADE is

Monday, May 30th - 9:00AM SHARP

The theme this year is “Our Fallen,Your Freedom.” Swimmers will ride the Dacula Dolphin Float, supervised by the Board Members. The Dacula Dolphins are proud to be able to honor those who have valently served our country & the fight for freedom. We hope the team's participation in the parade will be a good opportunity to share with our swimmers the meaning of the holiday & the parade and instill a sense of pride at being part of this special tribute to soldiers everywhere. 

• Parking for parents is available on a

first come, first serve basis, in the Hebron Parking Lot adjacent to the float staging area. Parents should park, then walk their swimmer(s) over to our float (number will be shared as soon as it is received). Once our float has been loaded, parents are free to leave the staging area to set up their chairs and enjoy the parade from the spectator section along Dacula Road. 

• Swimmers will receive their Dacula

Dolphin Team T-Shirts the morning of the

parade. We will escort swimmer groups to the restrooms so they may change before loading onto the float. Swimmers should wear sunscreen, sneakers & are encouraged to wear patriotic accessories. Bring along a bottle of bubbles to blow as we ride! The team will provide bottles of cold water to swimmers on the float. After the parade, swimmers will be released to parents back at the float staging area. Please note that once a swimmer has been checked in, they WILL NOT be released until a parent comes to claim them. 

• There is NO PRACTICE on Memorial Day, 

May 30th. Practice will resume on 

Tuesday, May 31 at regular time. Please do your best to attend both Tuesday & Thursday practices this week as swimmers will be focusing on their strokes in the upcoming Splash Meet. 

• There is still time to have friends, family

& neighbors join the team! Registration closes on May 31st. 

• Practice today, THURSDAY May 26th has

BEEN CANCELED due to inclement weather.
