2022 - End of Season Announcement

Dacula Dolphins Family,

Good afternoon! I hope everyone is looking forward to a great 4th of July weekend. We are looking forward to the end of the year Banquet!

One VERY important topic that will be discussed tonight are the board positions for 2023. This team is solely run by parents volunteering their time to ensure the kids have everything needed for each swim season. We only compensate our coaches.

For the 2023 season to not only be successful, but for the team to exist next year, we need parents to volunteer their time to lead. I have attached the volunteer & board roles and their responsibilities. Please keep in mind if you aren't interested in a board position, volunteering during each season is key aspect for the success of our team. 

Below is a list of Board positions Open 2023. There have been a few people that have already expressed an interest for certain roles (name are included) with 4 open positions as follows.

  • President - Jessica Turner*
  • Vice President/Registration - Kim Arakas
  • Treasurer - Melissa Olsson
  • Secretary/Communications Manager - OPEN
  • Meet/Volunteer Coordinator - Felicia Addison*
  • Special Events Coordinator - (3) Team Bonding Events - OPEN
  • Concessions Coordinator (2 person role) - Nick Arakas / Clare Mutters
  • Spirit wear/Merchandise Coordinator - Stacy & Jason Starling
  • Team Representative/Liaison - OPEN
  • Computer Manager - OPEN
  • Web Admin - Toby Wicks
  • Head Coach - Tariq Turner
  • Asst. Coach - Darrel Addison*

The top 4 positions are called Executive positions and they have a two year term maximum.
