Hi everyone,

Please carefully read the important information regarding the District Meet this Saturday at Collins Hill Aquatic Center.

Warmups: 8:00-8:20. Please be there BY 7:45 AM so that we can get a good spot for a team area and that all swimmers are in good standing before the meet. More on this below..

How this meet works: Every team that attends this meet is from Gwinnett County. Therefore, several teams from GCSL and NGSL participate, and several families come as individual swimmers. The TOP 3 swimmers from each event will be entered in the state meet. However, you must write your initials next to your name on the results posted. If you cannot attend state and you happen to place top 3 in your event, you must scratch (draw a line through your name on the results) so that the fourth place finisher can qualify for state. If you make top 3 for all 3 of your events, you are only allowed to swim two at state and must initial two events and scratch one.

BIRTH CERTIFICATES: Original birth certificates and 1 copy are to be brought to the meet upon entrance. Copies are made at the front for $2.00, cash only. You MUST bring these in order for your child to swim so that they are in good standing. They are very strict on correct age groups. I will send you all a reminder prior to the meet :) . 

State Coach: The host of this meet does not currently know who the state coach is, but he/she will be present at the meet. 

PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE:

All district swimmers will have practice Thursday, June 22nd from 7-9 PM at BOGAN PARK POOL. If you are unable to take your child to practice please find carpooling arrangements.
