Good morning everyone,

We would love to see swimmers come out and support our Pentathlon swimmers as they cheered on many teammates at the Invitational Meet.

LOCATION: Brad Akins YMCA     ADDRESS: 50 Brad Akins Dr, Winder, GA 30680   

Due to an unexpected amount of swimmer entries from all teams participating in this meet, the host has decided to split the meet into two sessions. 

10&Under: Warmups: 7:25 AM     Meet Start: 8 AM     Finish Time: Approx 10 AM   Be there BY: 7:10 AM

11&Up: Warmups: 10 AM    Meet Start: 11 AM      Finish Time: Approx 2:30 PM   Be there BY: 9:45 AM

The Pentathlon Meet consists of 5 events - short free, back, breast, fly, and 100 IM. At the end of the meet, times from all 5 events are summed up and awards are given for the top ten in each age group for the quickest time totals.

The team area will be in the basketball gym where it is nice and cool. The bleachers on the pool deck are reserved for parents whose swimmers are in the water racing. If parents seated on the bleachers do not have a swimmer in the water they will be asked to move. There will be an announcer that will state when each age group needs to report to the bullpen. All of my coaches will be swimming in this meet and I need to be on the pool deck to watch every swimmer's race and provide tips and feedback before and after their races. Therefore, please listen carefully for announcements in the gym so that I do not have to leave the pool deck to come find swimmers. Lastly, all families may park anywhere in the parking lot.

Please have them eat a good dinner loaded with carbs and stay hydrated! GO DOLPHINS!!!!
