Hello Everyone,

This email is to inform everyone that the Dacula Dolphins will participate in the Dacula Memorial Day Parade that takes place on Monday May 29, 2017 at 10:00am. The parade begins at Hebron Baptist Church and proceeds down Dacula Road, turns right on Second Ave, crosses Broad Street and ends at Dacula High School. We have a trailer that is towed in the parade in which the kids will ride. If you would like for your children to give out candy at the parade, you must provide it. The swim team does not provide candy.

No throwing of candy, favors or other items from parade entries.  These items MUST be distributed to parade spectators by walkers alongside their parade entries and tossed in the direction of peoples feet.  This is for the safety of everyone but especially for the safety of our children to keep them from running into the parade stream of vehicles to get that coveted piece of candy or favor.

If you are a returning swimmer and you have a tshirt from last year, you may wear that one. Otherwise, you may wear a blue, white or gold tshirt so that we may try and color coordinate. 

Please dress your child comfortably for the parade and have them bring a water bottle to drink from as well in the event that they require it.  Please note that this parade will take place regardless of weather.

If you plan to participate, please have your child at Hebron Church on Monday between 9:00am - 9:30am. The pick up area will be the same area in which we start. Enter the parking lot and look for the area in which the floats are located. You may ask any of the volunteers that are working for the location of the Dacula Dolphins float and they will direct you.
