Splash Meet RSVP Deadline
Hey everyone,
The deadline to turn in your Splash Meet RSVP Sheet to the mailbox is this Tuesday, May 23rd. For those of you that have already turned it in, I have taken it out of the mailbox. If you have not turned it in AND will not be at Monday or Tuesday's practice, please email me to RSVP. A couple things about the Splash meet...
This is the first NGSL (North Georgia Swim League) Meet of the season. Splash is a fun and laid back, yet competitive meet against NGSL teams in our division . The coaches are not too concerned if you miss a dual meet, but please attend NGSL meets. The Splash meet counts as a sanctioned meet, and each swimmer must attend 2 NGSL sanctioned meets to swim at League Championships, the most important meet of the season. Please keep in mind that the Splash meet is split into morning and afternoon sessions based on age groups.
Here are the events:
6&Under: 25 Yard Free, 25 Back, 100 Free Relay
7-10: 25 Free, 50 Free, 25 Back, 25 Breast, 25 Fly, 100 IM, 100 Free Relay, 100 Medley Relay
11-18: 25 Free, 50 Free, 100 Free, 50 Back, 50 Breast, 50 Fly, 100 IM, 200 Free Relay, 200 Medley Relay
Each swimmer may swim up to four individual events. You may request events under recommendation on the RSVP sheet but please know that the coaching staff will not enter your kid in an event that he or she is unable to swim.
